That is what S.W.O.R.D means. And that is what we are striving to become. Every teen is invited to come and be a part of us.
Hey, I’m Bro. Chad youth minister here at The Grove. Just to let you know what we are about and what we are doing here at Sword youth. To begin with we try our best to take alot of trips. We or part of a weekend Encounter trip at Awanita Valley, with a number of churches. This trip is something we did on our own to get one on one with the teens and have a great time with the Lord. We take little getaways to the mall in Valdosta and Albany just to do something together. Other trips also include Jon’s Sport Park,Putt Putt and Golf, Bowling and many others.
We have a drama team called People of Worship.(P.O.W) Our drama team is a little different cause we add in a little spice into each song along with a little acting. But the main ingredient to our drama is prayer and annointing. Which all of them put together makes for a great Worship experience.
Our services or Wednesday night at 7:00pm in the youth room. This is where we have church. Being a teen is fun but it is also very stressful. And I my self along with great group of leaders would like to be there for them as much as possible and to let them know that they are never alone. Cause the one that created them is always with them.
